European Life After Stroke Forum (ELASF) 2024 Terms & Conditions of Registration

Completion of registration information signifies acceptance of the terms and conditions below relating to ELASF 2024, taking place from 11-12 March 2024.

Registration fees and what is included

1. Registration fees are listed in Euro € and include Irish VAT at the prevailing rate.

2. ELASF 2024 registration fee includes participation in all scientific sessions and access to the exhibition, refreshment breaks during the scheduled programme, a Welcome Reception on Monday evening, and all printed conference materials.

3. Travel to and accommodation in Dublin is not included in registration fees.

Payment and cancellation policy

4. Payment may be made by credit/debit card (VISA, Mastercard).

5. Presenting authors for ELASF 2024 must register and pay by 15 January 2024 to have their presentation scheduled for presentation and included for publication in the official conference publications.

6. Cancellation for ELASF 2024. A refund will be made as follows:

Notification in writing to elasf@serenevents.com by 31 January 2024: 50% refund.
Notification in writing to elasf@serenevents.com from 31 January 2024: No refund.

7. In the event of cancellation by the participant, bank or credit card charges incurred by ELASF will not be refunded.

Other

8. ELASF reserves the right to make changes necessary to the conference programme that may result from COVID-19 restrictions or for any other reason.

9. ELASF reserves the right to change the format of the conference to virtual only, should COVID-19 or other restrictions result in the cancellation of the in-person event.

10. You should ensure you have appropriate travel insurance including Coronavirus medical and repatriation cover. If restrictions due to COVID-19 or other unforeseen circumstances mean you are unable to attend the event, the cancellation policy above will apply.

11. It is your responsibility to comply with all instructions given at the event and to comply with all applicable laws, including health and safety laws, fire regulations and any code of conduct relating to COVID-19 or for any other reason whilst at the venue.

12. Adequate travel protection is also highly recommended for all conference participants as ELASF bears no responsibility for travel issues affecting attendance at the event.

13. You may, as part of the event, be recorded or photographed and by completing this booking you are agreeing for your image to be used by ELASF for promotional purposes.

14. Privacy policy: By making a booking for ELASF 2024 you consent to your personal data being shared with third parties authorised by ELASF to receive them in the process of delivering the event, including Seren Events Limited, Cvent (event booking platform) and Oxford Abstracts (abstract management platform).
