A maths tutor before I had a stroke, I now have aphasia and acalculia. I am co-author of ‘A qualitative study into the experience of living with acalculia after stroke and other forms of acquired brain injury’, published in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation. I advise the UK Stroke Association on accessibility for people with aphasia.
