Syeda, a psychiatry resident at the University of Toronto, conducts research on the psychosocial experiences of young stroke survivors, applying qualitative methodologies to deepen understanding.  She also studies the motivations behind live organ donation to support improved care practices. Syeda received the Best Trainee Presentation Award from the Canadian Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
