Assistant Professor Hrvoje Budinčević, MD, PhD, FEAN, FESO, is a specialist in neurology and a subspecialist in intensive care medicine and cerebrovascular diseases. He works at Sveti Duh University Hospital, Department of Neurology in Zagreb. His main clinical interest covers cerebrovascular and neurodegenerative diseases. He is a board member of the World Stroke Organization and a Steering Committee member of the Stroke Action Plan for Europe and the ESO EAST project. As a president of the Croatian Stroke Society and Central and Eastern European Stroke Society, he actively promotes stroke prevention and raising stroke awareness, organizes public campaigns and scientific meetings, and supports stroke days (Croatian, European, World).
